Autotools

I would like to learn how to use autotools i.e. autoconf, automake and libtool and how to create GNU projects in way that will be portable on Unix/Linux systems and MS Windows system. I've found a very good online book:

It's also a good tutorial for very beginners.

First post

I've decided to start writing a Linux technical blog. That were two reasons. The first one is that I often make something useful in my Ubuntu Linux for example installing new software or compiling some sources and during this I encounter some problems, so I try to solve them. Sometimes it took long hours of efforts and searching on the Internet. I need to document that because I haven't a good memory. The second reason is that I often find useful information on blogs or pages like this one, so I also would like to share my experience. And that is a third reason that I forgot about. I need to think or write in English to practice this language. I hope that blog would be useful for you.
